Overview

What The Work Involves

Basement waterproofing covers both sides of the wall. From the exterior, the foundation is excavated to the footing, repaired, sealed and membrane-protected, with new weeping tile laid in clear stone. From the interior, a perimeter drainage system collects water at the footing line and directs it to a sump pit.

Which approach is right depends on the condition of the wall, the number of entry points, the drainage that already exists and how much exterior access the property allows. We assess all four before recommending anything.

Basement Waterproofing Includes

  • Exterior excavation & membrane
  • Interior perimeter drainage
  • Foundation crack repair
  • Weeping tile replacement
  • Sump pit & pump installation
  • Grading & downspout correction
